This Victorian villa, built circa 1860 hosts many original features, including high ceilings, sash windows and fireplaces. We have three rooms to offer our guests -


The Ennerdale is a large double room with king size bed and en-suite bathroom with clawfoot bath and hand shower.

The Buttermere is a double room with double bed and en-suite shower room.

The Derwent is a smaller room with twin beds and an en-suite wet room.


The Corner House is located only 5 minutes stroll from the historic Georgian port town of Whitehaven. Much of the town dates back to the 1700's when shipping rum and mining were its main trades. The harbour side is now noted as being the start of the Coast to Coast cycle route and Coast to Coast walkers start their journey a short hop around the coast at St Bees.


The Corner House's traditional English breakfast is sourced from local Cumbrian suppliers and guest facilities include onsite parking and free wireless internet access.
